Many advertising agencies attempt to create a cult of personality for products. Also, celebrities also may reach the heights of a cult of personality. And obviously, world leaders may also develop a cult of personality through propaganda.
In what ways is a cult of personality good? How can it be bad?
Cut of personality is good because, people may want to follow you and you can lead people. Its also bad because the wrong people are looked at the wrong way when they dont know their back round life and what they did.
ReplyDeleteIt can be good, if you can use that cult of personality for a good reason. An example like the video is Martin Luther King Jr., it helped him and it helped the people to follow him. It can be bad if you use it for a bad reason and example is Joseph Stallin, because it led him into doing something that harmed people.
ReplyDeleteCult of personality is good sometimes because it can make that person look like a hero in some way. It can be bad because they fool us to think they are good but then behind closed doors and they are not living up to the title that they said they were.

But you never hear of him doing anything illegal or stuff like that. Then in a bad way, people can take it another way. Someone says something to be funny but to the other person its offensive.
